The Meisner Certificate Training Program

Our Meisner Teacher Program is truly the most thorough and rigorous training in the skills of teaching, and doing, the Meisner Approach as taught by renowned author and teacher, Larry Silverberg.

Who is it for?

Every year, our students come from every part of the world. They are professors, professional actors, select college acting students, film and theatre directors, high school acting teachers, screenwriters and other professional theatre and film artists. 

When is it? 

This Certificate Program is held in two parts, each part is 2 weeks long.  The next Part One begins on June 8th, 2026  and concludes on June 21st.

Our students take Part One in one summer, receive the Level One Teaching Certificate, and then come back the following summer to complete the Advanced Certification requirements. 

Each day, you will be in rigorous training sessions, rehearsals, practice sessions with partners and preparing homework assignments for the following day. 

There is also time built in for enjoying the Fun and Sun of St Petersburg, Florida!

How Much Is It? 

The Part One program fee is $2750

The fee pays for all of your classes & activities. A $300.00 deposit holds your place in the program.

The balance is divided into 2 payments. The first due by January 15 and the second due by May 15. 

(Due to limited seating, all payments are non-refundable.)

Where is it? 

The program is based in beautiful St. Petersburg, Florida! With great restaurants, museums and beaches, St Pete is one of the three fastest growing cities in the country.

Acceptance into the Summer Meisner Program is based on a Zoom meeting with Larry.
