The Meisner Certificate Training Program
Our Meisner Training Program is truly the most thorough and rigorous training in the skills of great acting as taught by renowned author and teacher, Larry Silverberg.
Who is it for?
Every year, our students come from every part of the world. They are professors, heads of university theatre departments, professional and aspiring actors, college students, high school acting teachers, screenwriters and other professional theatre and film artists.
When is it?
This Certificate Program is held in two parts, each part is 2 weeks long. The next Part One begins on July 4th, 2026 and concludes on July 17th.
Our students take Part One in one summer, receive the Level One Certificate, and then come back the following summer to complete the Advanced Certification.
Over the course of two full weeks you will be in rigorous training sessions, rehearsals, practice sessions with partners and preparing homework assignments for the following day.
There is also time built in for enjoying the Fun and Sun of our new, amazing summer program location!
How Much Is It?
The fee is $2850 USD / $2850 CAD (after discount)
Canadian citizens pay $2850 CAD which represents our $1100 exchange-rate discount.
The fee pays for all of your classes & activities. A $300.00 deposit holds your place in the program.
Balance is divided into our 6 month payment plan.
(Due to limited seating, all payments are non-refundable.)
Where is it? We're coming to Canada!
North Bay, Ontario
The program is now based in a most spectacular summer location - North Bay, Ontario, on the shore of Lake Nipissing, known for its natural beauty and outdoor recreation!
Space in this program is very limited so be sure to register early!

Larry was the Master Teacher of Acting & Full Professor for 4 years at Shenandoah University.
He was then asked to become the Director of the acting program but he turned down the offer due to his busy professional teaching & directing schedule.
