A Note From Begoña Soler

"Yesterday we experienced something very special in the classroom. I don’t have the words to fully describe what we felt during the session with Larry.

He didn’t just answer questions about acting. He also spoke to us about what it means to be an artist today, and about the responsibility we have as actors and actresses to tell meaningful stories in the world we live in.

It’s not easy to find someone who speaks straight to the heart, without masks or barriers, and who understands acting from such a deep, human and spiritual place as Larry does.

When the session ended, the atmosphere was pure joy, motivation and enthusiasm. The students’ eyes were shining, and I felt like I was going to explode with emotion. We all wanted to work better than we had worked the day before.

That is what I call inspiration: words that remind us why we want — and why we must — become better artists every day, and also better human beings.
