The Meisner Certificate Training Program
Our Meisner Program is truly the most thorough and rigorous training in the skills of teaching, and doing, the Meisner Technique as taught by renowned author and teacher, Larry Silverberg.
Who is it for?
Every year, our students come from every part of the world. The participants are professors, heads of university theatre departments, professional and aspiring actors, film and theatre directors, high school acting teachers, screenwriters and other professional theatre and film artists.
When is it?
The program is held in two parts, each part is two weeks long. The next Part One begins on July 14th, 2024 and concludes on July 27th.
Our students take Part One in one summer and then come back the following summer to complete the certification requirements.
Each week, you have classes five days a week. Outside of classes, you will be in rehearsals, practice sessions with partners and preparing homework assignments for the following day.
There is also time built in for enjoying the Fun and Sun of St Pete!
How Much Is It?
The Part One program fee is $3975
The fee pays for all of your classes & activities. A $375.00 deposit holds your place in the program.
The balance is divided into 3 payments. The first due September 15, the second due January 15 and the third due by May 15.
(Due to limited seating, all payments are non-refundable.)
Where is it?
The program is based in beautiful St. Petersburg, Florida! With great restaurants, museums and beaches, St Pete is one of the three fastest growing cities in the country.
Space in this program is very limited so be sure to apply and register early!
Acceptance into the Summer Meisner Program is based on a telephone interview with Larry.
