THE SUMMER TEEN FILM ACTOR INTENSIVE FACULTY

LARRY SILVERBERG is one of the most widely published actor / acting teachers in the world today and he is considered one of the foremost authorities on the Sanford Meisner Technique of acting through his internationally acclaimed four volume series, “The Sanford Meisner Approach: An Actors Workbook,” and his book, “Loving To Audition.” Larry’s newest books include “The 7 Simple Truths of Acting for the Teen Actor” which was released last year and “Meisner for Teens” which will be released in the fall of 2009. All of Larry’s books are published by Smith & Kraus, the leading publisher of acting related books.

Larry is a graduate of the Neighborhood Playhouse School of Theatre where he studied with legendary acting teacher, Sanford Meisner. Since then, Larry has worked professionally as an actor and director across the United States and in Canada. Most recently, Larry and his co-stars received high praise from the New York Times for their performances in Athol Fugard’s “People Are Living There” at The Signature Theater in New York City, and Larry won the Seattle Critic’s Association “Stellar Acting Award” for his portrayal of “Teach” in the Belltown Theatre Center production of “American Buffalo”   LEARN MORE ABOUT LARRY

MARCO DIGEORGE is a Producer and Director at his film production companies, Doctrine Creative, Stars North and New Philms, where he has produced many projects including three feature length independent films: the dark and gritty crime drama Untitled, the dramatic heart-felt Because of You, and the urban comedy Out On Parole. Marco is currently in pre-production on two other feature films: the romantic comedy Normalcy and the historical biopic The Highwaymen.

Marco has produced and/or directed other projects, including the short films Makazie One, The Misguided and Sunshine is Good, the sitcom pilot The Gossip Shop, and the Star Wars documentary Celebration V: The Experience. He also worked along side actors Michael Rooker and Bill Cobbs on the Stars North film This Man’s Life.

In addition, Marco works on a daily basis with commercial clients such as Disney, Nickelodeon, Expedia, 3M, AB Sciex, and CHEP, producing a variety of projects from commercials to radio spots to web-casts.

Aside from production, Marco also co-founded Truthful Acting Studios, where he guides actors along the Meisner Approach to the craft of acting.

ROBB MAUS began his acting career in 1986 in a stage production of Gemini. He went on to appear in such plays as Equus, Look Homeward, Angel, Broadway Bound, Season's Greetings, Fiorello and an award winning production of Jim Leonard's The Diviners. He has appeared in two national tours—The Jungle Book and The Code Breaker.  

In addition to his work on stage, Robb has appeared in a number of independent films, most notably USS Seaviper, a WWII epic due for release in 2012, and Rough Winds, the winner of the Best Florida Film Award at the 2010 Fort Lauderdale International Film FestivalRobb has also appeared in dozens of broadcast commercials, public service announcements and industrials, and can be seen as a regular guest host on The Home Shopping Network.

When not on stage or in front of the camera, Robb is co-founder and acting instructor at Truthful Acting Studios in Orlando, Florida. Robb is a graduate of Larry Silverberg's Meisner Teacher Certificate Program.
